About Us
Clarity you can trust, in seconds
At Body Fitness Calculator, we believe health information shouldn’t be locked behind sign-up forms, subscriptions, or confusing jargon. We built a home for free, easy-to-use health calculators — BMI, body fat, calories, due dates, heart rate zones, ovulation windows, protein and water intake, and more — so anyone can get a clear, personalised answer in seconds.
Why we started this
Most of us have typed a health question into a search engine only to land on a page cluttered with ads, outdated formulas, or results that don’t explain what they actually mean. We wanted something different: tools that are fast, accurate, and genuinely easy to understand, whether you’re tracking a fitness goal, planning a pregnancy, or just curious about your numbers.
Our calculators are built on established, widely used formulas from recognised health and nutrition guidelines. We don’t guess at the science — we apply it, and we explain the results in plain language so you know what to do with them.
What guides how we build our tools
Every calculator on this site is shaped by three principles:
- Accuracy first. We rely on standard, well-documented formulas rather than shortcuts, and we review our calculations regularly.
- Simplicity always. No jargon, no unnecessary steps — just enter your details and get your result.
- Privacy by default. No sign-up, no stored personal data. Your numbers are yours.
Our promise
You shouldn’t need an account, a payment, or a nutrition degree to understand your own body. That’s why every calculator we publish stays free, fast, and judgment-free.
How we keep improving
We treat this site as a living resource, not a finished product. Our process looks like this:
- Review each calculator’s formula against current, credible health and nutrition references.
- Test results across different ages, body types, and use cases to catch inconsistencies.
- Update tools and explanations as guidelines evolve, so the numbers you see stay relevant.
Looking ahead
We’re continuing to add calculators based on what people actually ask us for, from sleep tracking to lens measurements. If there’s a health calculation you wish existed, we’d like to hear about it — this site is built for the people who use it.
